The Outer Banks of North Carolina boasts five gorgeous lighthouses, including this one on Bodie Island. One of my favorite memories with my in-laws is a trip we took just over a year after my husband and I were married to the Outer Banks. The only lighthouse we did not see during that trip was The Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse. I would love to go back one day and see that one, too!

I went to NC once with an old boyfriend who surfed. We saw the lighthouse that was later moved away from the beach. I’m not sure if it’s the same one.

I do love to go around and see lighthouses. They have one in Michigan and a couple in Ohio that I really, really like.
My husband and I love lighthouses. We spent one vacation visiting and taking pictures of the ones on the New England coastline. So much fun!
